Cycles Arc is a brand of Kairoi Co. OÜ. This policy covers cyclesarc.com. The shop at cyclesarc.shop has its own policy.
Less than you might expect, because most of what this site describes is not switched on yet. There are no user accounts on this website, nothing on it takes a payment, and the apps are not yet released. Until they are, personal data reaches us in exactly three ways:
We do not ask for and do not hold your telephone number, your postal address, your date of birth or a password. We do not buy personal data, and we build no profiles.
The calculators and sky tools published on this website compute an answer and forget it. A place and a date are used to produce the result you asked for and are not retained, and no profile is assembled behind them. If you use the button that reads your location, the coordinates are used by your own browser to fill the form and are not sent to us as a stored record.
Where a tool asks for an email address, that is an explicit opt-in to the Cycles Arc letter and is handled under the section below — it is never a condition of the calculation being correct.
If you join the Cycles Arc letter or a waiting list, we store your email address and the page you joined from. Confirmation is double opt-in: you receive one email asking you to confirm, and nothing further is sent unless you do. The lawful basis is your consent, and you may withdraw it at any time. The list is never shared, rented or sold. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and you may also ask us to remove you at any time.
If you unsubscribe we keep your address on a suppression list and nothing else, indefinitely, because that is the only way to be sure we do not write to you again.
The programme is not open yet; the form on the affiliates page joins a waiting list. We use what you send to decide whether to accept your application, on the basis of our legitimate interest in choosing who represents Cycles Arc, and we keep it separate from the mailing list. Applying subscribes you to nothing.
When the programme opens, it runs through the merchant of record that handles our sales. The merchant of record tracks referrals, pays commissions and holds the payout details you give it, under its own privacy policy. We hold your referral code, the referrals credited to it and the commissions paid, for the accounting record. That processing is necessary to perform our agreement with you.
A referral link sets one cookie in the visitor's browser, lasting 30 days, so that a sale can be credited to the affiliate who introduced it. That cookie is not strictly necessary, so it is not set today and will not be set without asking you first. Until the programme opens, see the section below: this site sets no cookies at all.
This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel and no third-party script on these pages — the fonts are served from our own server, so your browser talks to us and to nobody else. Nothing about your visit reaches a company we have not named here.
One preference is remembered in your browser's own local storage: whether you chose the day or the night theme. It never leaves your device and it is not sent to us.
The only cookie we foresee is the affiliate referral cookie described above, which arrives when that programme opens and will be asked for, not assumed.
Our mailboxes, our mailing list and our business records are held inside the European Economic Area. We make no transfer to a third country.
Data is shared only with the providers that run the service, each acting on our instructions alone under a data processing agreement: our hosting provider, which runs this site and our email inside the EEA and passes the mail we send through its own filtering service. We do not sell your data. We disclose it where the law requires — for example to a tax authority or a court.
We protect what we hold with encryption in transit, access controls, and by collecting as little as the job needs in the first place.
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to the personal data we hold about you and for its correction or erasure, withdraw a consent you gave, object to processing based on legitimate interest, ask us to restrict processing, and ask for a copy of what you gave us in a portable form. Wherever you live, write to us and we will deal with your request on the same terms.
To exercise your rights: contact privacy@cyclesarc.com. We answer within one month. You may also complain to a supervisory authority — in Estonia, where we are established, that is the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. When the apps, the shop checkout or the affiliate programme go live, this page is updated before they do, not after.
